What is Temple Challenge?

Temple Challenge is a unique fitness program designed to meet the needs of any individual.

At its core, Temple Challenge is a 60-minute workout that includes a warm-up and cool down. But it’s so much more than a workout.

Temple Challenge uses a proven, effective strategy to help you lose weight, build muscle, or reach your personal health goals.  No shaming. No gimmicks. No quick fixes. Just hard work, accountability, and the tools you need to be successful. 

Each class begins with a warm-up and then you’re moving - 50 minutes (give or take) of working your entire body. Every workout is different - every time you come. You’ll use dumbbells for strength exercises, at whatever weight you’re comfortable with, and every workout includes cardio and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) to elevate your heart rate and build your cardiovascular health, too. The workout ends with a cool down.

If you think you can’t do a 60 minute workout, we get it. Modifications are offered for every exercise - we just recommend that you keep moving during the workout, even if that’s walking around the gym.

Stacy Houser founded Temple Challenge in 2014 and since then, thousands of people have experienced the life-changing benefits of the TC system.

  • Absolutely. The first class is free! Just check out the class schedule and show up.

  • Then Temple is perfect for you! Every exercise can be modified to meet you right where you are in your fitness journey. Temple classes are always a mix of beginners and those further along in their journey. 

  • No. Everything you need is provided. You may choose to bring your own weights or mat, if you prefer. Equipment availability varies depending on the class location.

  • All signature classes are 60 minutes but you can take a break anytime you need. Every workout is a full-body workout though some days may focus differently than others.

  • The Fit3D Body Scan is here! Read more about the Fit3D and get your pass! If you choose not to do the Fit3D scan, you will complete an information card with your beginning measurements. You'll have the chance to weigh-in and be measured every three weeks to see your progress. Weigh-ins are always optional. 

  • Yes! Temple Challenge offers a Pro, Lite, and Workout of the Day workouts that mimic the in-person classes. Check those out in the TC Store.
